I bought that kit and never put it on because it was a rip off. I got mine from C5west, but it was the identical kit and even the pics were the same. Same crappy company, different name??
Here are the real issues with the kit:
1. $$$ - way too much
2. Fiberglass was thin and the entire kit was not well made. My front end actually had a few spots that there was no fiberglass at all. That's right...holes.
3. No way to secure the (side) marker lights front or back - I got the ZR1 back end with my kit. The side and back light locations were not even cut out.
4. If anyone bumps you when it's parked, or if you bump something, you're screwed. Stay with the urethane.
5. They give you epoxy for the door skirts. C'mon, do you really want to glue your bodykit on your car?
If you have any more questions, feel free to contact me.

I'm sorry, but the C5 upgrade on a C4 just doesn't look right to me. If you want to do it, go for it. I have to laugh everytime I see one of these cars for sale. The 91-96 bumper upgrade on the 84-90 is hard enough and not really worth it in the long run.
IMO, it will drop the overall resale on the car. If I wanted the C5 look, I would save up the money for a C5. The 97-99 can easily be gotten for 13-19K with high miles.

Ive seen a few kit cars and they weren't done well.
The last I looked at was a Cobra kit car and the glass work was terrible.
Weak flimsy body, poorly finished underneath, and with a Cobra kit theres a lot of underneath.
Unless its a really good kit, it wont ever be very good.
Ive seen a few C4/5 cars and in the pictures they looked ok, strange but ok.
The only one that looks good is the C5/C1 car.
Those are cool.
Now if you were talking about a Jamican Fiber Fab thats a different story, or even a Kellsion.....those were cool.

keep the mustang, they are way better cars then corvettes, faster, lighter, more advanced, sleeker, save the money and fix up the mustang!
(im just tryin to keep one of these guys out of a corvette, he's the type to go to a car show and brag about him having a corvette, then one day he has a problem he cant fix then sells it, then goes on his stang forum and bashes corvettes!)

any way don't worry this car is going to the right hands, to a friend who likes Chevrolets, his going to trade his 92 stang for the vette so i think in the end everyone is going to be happy
Plus when i go to a car show i never take my car, i'm not that kind of "hey! look at my car" guy, i like to turn heads with the simple fact of driving around
Now to get rid of the Vette bug i would ask a friend to let me drive his car its a C6, not bad
