Sharing your Vette with your GF ??????
Hi,most of our girls maybe think that our Vettes are time and money consuming cars and that we can get a new model of a compact street normal car.-
Some of them will end loving our Vettes at some point
How many of you guys share your Vette with your girl ?
Do you let her drive ?
Are you nervous when she is driving alone ?
i think i will have big NO NO's ! but i think they could look bad *** driving the vette and we can enjoy our vette "from the outside" but i really love it from the inside too !
woah ! any of your girls had your vette hit ?????????
Share your fun experiences (or not so funny) !!!!
Thanx

I encourage my girl to take her for a spill...ment spin- all the time, but she only takes it if she has to, i.e. working on her Stang.
SHE is the one who has concerns. (as it should be)
My thoughts are as follows; (Of course I don't tell her this)
No mods, stock = just another car..albeit very one
Have insurance
Love my Vette, but not the only one on planet Earth
Crash = Upgrade
Blond Chicks look hot in Vetts
yup, that will do it!

i'm kicking her out so it doesn't matter.
the relatively few times she's been in the passenger's seat has been nothing but an annoyance because she's afraid of the way i get on it. she was in my ear giving me garbage. says its too loud, too sudden, too fast. F her.

Safety Car
Next time ask, "Is this Vette a motorcycle?"
She'll act confused or say no.
You say, "Well, because it's not, get out. There's no b**** seat."

My GF paid for half the car and initial repairs but it sits in my garage on my insurance (she pays half). She can drive it anytime she wants.

My ex asked to drive it.....couldn't really say no after she did this photo shoot with me (shown in sig). ha ha.
The fiance however does get to drive it any time she wants though. She's just too scared of it with speed bumps.

only true women appreciate a vette... and one of those few will be my wife.... or living mate one day

My wife drives mine. She is more worried about something or someone (the infamous In Tow car haulers of South Texas to Mexico) damaging the car than I am.
I love the Vette, it is only a car, albeit a really one. If it gets wrecked (won't be the wife's fault, she has autocrossed successfully in the past), as long as she is ok. I can always buy another Corvette. It's hard to find the right woman, one who likes fast cars, guns and hunting, and is willing to put up with an LEO for a husband.

No GF drivers anymore
I let my GF drive my car whenever she wanted until:
#1 drove down a muddy dirt road @ 4 miles of Georgia red clay. I still cuss everytime I get under the car and some of that stuff falls into my eyes. I think I finally cleaned it all out from under the car.
#2 ran the gas tank down so low that it wouldnt start. It was in the driveway at least.
#3 drove the car into a steep driveway entrance and scrubbed the new air dam damn near off the car.
#4 parked the car in a CVS Pharmacy and left it there for 2 days UNLOCKED. Than God nothing was damaged, dinged or stolen.
When I bought the car in 1998, I was only the third different person to ever drive the car. Now my philosophy is: If you want to drive a corvette - go out and buy your own. There is just too much expensive stuff that can go wrong with an inexperinced driver. Use your best judgement and learn from my mistakes.
