Beautiful girl and nice pictures. I liked Mystic a lot, used to ride out there on my Suzuki when I lived in Connecticut about 100 years ago.

Be happy. I hope she will always be the same girl you proposed to and not 'morph' into another creature as some brides can.

Watch out for pregnancy, motherhood, and menopause as sources of misery. Oher than that, you'll be fine.

Did you run this plan past her father or did you just lay your neck on the block?

Congratulations! A very nice story; one to be remembered and told many times.
You have the world by the tail! Keep enjoying every day. How does the word wife sound? I remember when I first got married it sounded so odd, but yet comforting somehow! Oh and then I woke up! Only kidding!
Take Care
BTW - nice car

Default Congrats

Being married to the right woman is wonderful, especially if you were ever married to the WRONG woman before!!!

Don't worry about kids taking away some time from the Vette. They do, at first, but then they will fight to see who rides with Dad in the Vette. Trust me on this one.

My two boys are always helping me work on the Vette, clean it or wax it. It is some of the best bonding time. Plus, they learn to pay attention to detail. They want it to look (and run) as good as you do. Then you can sit down, drink a cold one (sodas only, for now!! ) and admire the hard work that was done.

Again, congrats and good luck!!!

I've heard of a marriage on the rocks but this is the first time I've heard of an engagement on the rocks.

Congrats!

I miss New England very much (born in VT, grew up there & NH) especially the coast. Being a boating guy, this area sucks! Nothing but rocks and sand. Someday I'll drag my boat back east for a vacation and hit all those fishing ports.

Marriage is give and take. It is a 50/50 thing! It does appear that you are off to a good start with her. Woman continue to need alot of attention and romance. Kind of sounds like a Corvette , right?

Alot of guys stop maintaining their wife. So you tell me what happens to a Vette if you stop the maintenance!? Love her and take care of her and when she talks just listen to her or at least pretend you are listening to her...

Of course all the rules are in the crapper for 1.Pregnancy 2. Motherhood (You drop in priority and you get less maintenance! ) 3. Menopause - time for a job overseas!

Hey everything will be fine, it will probably be fantastic!. Jack Daniels , in moderation, helps! Good Luck!
