I will go first, mounted leather seats in graphite, no perforations through Wilcox, came with Corvette America logo's on the boxes.

my opinion
Bought mine from Ecklers for my 84..... Black vinyl was cheap and tacky looking, did not fit worth a damn....Very time consuming and difficult installing...right up there with a heater core for pain in the *** jobs......

I purchased the Mid America Motor Works mounted "leather" covers. I went with them largely because they offered a contrast stitch option (got black with gray stitching to go with my black and gray interior).
Despite MAM advertising these as leather covers, they actually are just like the original covers where the seating surfaces are leather, but the bolsters and other areas are vinyl. It would have been too much hassle to send them back, but I was quite dissapointed they were not 100% leather, as I believe some others are.
The MAD covers are great if you are going for an identical look for restoration, but if I had the opportunity to do it over, I'd go out of my way to make sure I got 100% leather ones. Regardless, I think it is well worth the money to get them pre-mounted by the manufacturer.

I guess I should have checked out some other vendors. I was new to Corvettes at the time and didn't know about the others mentioned. I got perforated 100% leather covers and foam from Ecklers. If I wanted new seats today, I would not buy anything that is not already mounted on the foam. I have no complaints about the leather and foam from Ecklers. It still looks very good after two years. It's just that; it was a **** pulling that leather over the foam.

Corvette America makes them for everyone else including Al Knoch.
The fit is great, but the foam sucks. It simply isn't as dense as the original foam.
While you are shopping, shop for price since they are all the same covers.

I'm fairly sure that MAM makes their own covers. As for foam, I don't know who makes it, but the MAM supplied seat foam is definitely denser than the state of the 1991 factory foam that was in my car before. Indeed, I now sit up over an inch higher than I did in the factory seats, even after I removed two of the bands from the seat frame. In my case, I was most sorry to loose the headroom.
