Default 94 aligned 3 times and still pulls to right

94 aligned 3 times and still pulls to right. Shops states specks are within normal limits. All tires are 275/40. Back left tire is newer kumho as other tires were discontinued kumho(4 years old). Didnt really pay attention to whell when new tire was installed. Switched right sided tires with no notable inprovement. Ball Joints?-Both shops said nothing. Last shop stated it could be the tires?
Switch back tires to see if there is a difference-even though they are directional?

Suggestions appreciated

Thanks

Default pulls right

Try getting your tires roadforce balanced or try someone elses tires.

Yes, swap the two back ones and see if that makes any difference. The fact that they're directional won't matter for this purpose.

Can you feel a jerk or some pull when you hit the brakes? Maybe 1 caliper can be dragging? See if you can feel a difference in heat between the 2 wheels. See if there is a difference in wear between the 2 sets of brake pads.

Good point. Also an old flexible hose on that side can have an identical effect. They can swell on the inside and act like a one way valve, allowing pressure to the caliper during braking but restricting the return to normal residual pressure at the caliper after braking. You'll always generally see just a bit more wear on the right side brakes of a street car, this is normal. But anymore than a slight difference indicates a problem of this nature.

Unequal tire pressure.
Dragging caliper.
Different tires on one side (but you've already ruled that out?)
REALLY bad wheel bearing.

You DID have the REAR aligned, too, didn't you?

Hey rocco

I have not ruled out the different tire syndrome. I switch the 2 right tires but the different newer one is on the back left. Will change 2 back rears tonight.
Air pressure have not personally check but would have thought shop would do. I know, dont take anything for granted. How would I check wheel bearing?

Not saying this is it, but sit in it when they align it again, I always request to sit in the car if they say no I go elsewhere, this allows me to get the wheel straight thus not relying on the tech and I have seen some cars swing the toe a .5-1.5 degree's with the driver sitting in the car. Learned this from an old school alignment guy, after all there is always a driver in the car, right?

Good point about sitting in the car. I pisses me off when they give you the car back and the steering wheel isnt even straight.

You failed to answer rocco16, did you get a FOUR wheel alignment?

Sorry

Yes of course 4 wheel alignment. Tonight I switched the 2 back tires and all air pressure at 32. So presently i am driving with the 2 back wheel in the wrong direction. Same thing-slight pull to the right. Nothing when i hit the brakes.

You may not have enough correction for road crown. A really good alignment tech can adjust for that.

The crown of the road means the same as a football field. The center is higher than the sidelines (or shoulder in case of a road), so that when it rains, the rain goes to the gutters or shoulders, same way a football field is supposed to drain to the sidelines.

Has the car ever been in an accident, especially the front-end.
Sounds like the tracking is off- which a front brace or frame strut got bent, but that should've shown up with a 4 wheel alignment.
