Default corvette is no.1 in top ten list

from MSNBC news:

TOP 10 LUXURY VEHICLE VALUE HOLDERS

and No. 1 is:

2007 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe
MSRP: $44,250
Residual Value After Five Years: 47 percent*

The only American car on this list finishes on top. Auto Appraisal Group's Larry Batton says that American cars generally lag imports in residual values, but the Corvette's an exception. "It's an icon. And it's also historically an image-maker, which keeps it in demand, and keeps value high," he says.

I keep trying to tell my wife that....don't worry, honey, it'll still be worth the same when I sell to it by the *next* one.

Finally there was a cool show on the Speed Channel this morning acutely two shows but one was where the son gave his dad a brand new C6 for the payback. The other was The Last Sting Ray. It just reinforced how awesome these cars really are and how Americans just stop and drool when seeing one. I'd love to have a C6 someday.

15 years ago did they consider our C4's "luxury" cars?

I feel so old...................

Oh, that's right, I am old

CORVETTE's #1 in my world.
Everytime I wash it in the driveway, the neighbors still come over to look and talk about it.
