I don't come here that often, but this is THE best place for Vette information, so here goes...My a/c has stopped blowing from the vents and only blows through the defrost and the floor. Has anybody had this happen to them before? What could be the problem and how would I fix it? It blows cold, and gets annoying when driving at night when my windshield starts frosting over and I have to keep running my wipers.

Sounds like one of your blend doors is not moving correctly. Do you have electronic or manual A/C?

It is electronic. I'm not an auto expert, but I was wondering if there was some kind of door that directed the air.

Do you have the Factory manual?

The Manual has a nice troubleshooting section for this issue..

My guess is it will be a bad Programmer (under dash) or a vacuum leak causing the vents not to move

Bad A/C Programmer and/or Blower Control Module.

It's a '94. Thanks for the responses. I'll get the manual out and take a look at it this weekend. I want to get it solved before the endless 90* days start.

It's most likly this vacuum valve under the fuel rail.

Check that vacuum valve first as shown by 93*Corvette, that is a common failure and WILL cause exactly what youre describing.

Yup. That valve runs $5.12 online from GM Parts Direct.com.

NAPA carries it, too, according to C4 guru Gordon Killebrew.
