Default Wheel fit

I'm planning to put new wheels on my 93 convertible and I'm hoping to get some advise and guidance from the brain-trust here. My first question deals with wheel size; the current (stock?) front wheel on my car is 8.5", and the rears are 9.5" The wheel that I'm considering (AFS ZO6 style) is 9.5 wide. Will the extra inch in the front cause problems of any sort? I think that I've seen a thread on this topic recently but it doesn't come up when I do a search. Second these are the specs on the wheel;

17"x9.5"
+56mm offset
7.4 backspace
5x120.65 bolt pattern

Do these look right? The manufacturers description says that they will fit 1988 through 2003 Corvettes.

Thanks in adnance for any advise or suggestions.

There should be no problem. The 93 ZR-1 came with 17 x 9.5" front wheels. Also the Z07 equipped 93s came with that same front wheel. Z07 included RPO FX3 (Selective Ride and Handling electronic), Heavy-suty front and rear springs, shocks, stabilizers and bushings, larger front brakes, and heavy-duty front and rear stabilizer bars.
Should be OK with the base suspension also.
All info from "Cor-Vette Specs C4 1984-1996 Models"
Here is a quote from a GM press release: The coupe and convertible are now equipped with 17 x 8.5" wheels up front and 17 x 9.5" wheels in the rear. (The '92 models were equipped with four, 17 x 9.5" wheels.) The new wheels are mated to P255/45ZR17 and P285/40ZR17 tires, respectively. The change is designed to balance tractive efforts--fore, aft and laterally."
