C4 and a bike in the Garage?

Burning Brakes
I was 19 years old in 1969 and had a Harley. I bought a new 69 Corvette and thought I didn't need the bike anymore, so I sold it. Big mistake, I bought another bike about six months later and haven't been without one since. Along with my 86 vette is a 05 BMW K1200LT in my garage. I do love to take trips on it.

got a pic here somewhere........
1965 Electra Glide. Shovelhead top end. Early 70's tanks and emblems.
I want to convert it back to a Panhead with the right tanks, emblems and oil tank. All that is keeping me back is the $$$$$$$$!

Hmmm... Of course Cannondale makes a bicycle and took a stab at MX. I assume you are talking about your bicycle? I love road bikes too and Mountain bikes. I ride a Eddy Merckx and a Gary Fischer. They are already parked next to the vette.
I was at the store today and looked at a recent copy of a motorcycle magazine, I believe it was Sport Rider Magazine. It had a article on top pro motorcyclists using bicycles as part of their physical training. Ricky Carmichael, the Motocross rider is a serious bicyclist too. Gotta love those toys.

Buy what you like. Test drive a few. I have hit the 300,000 Club a few years ago. My taste has change over the years. But when I started touring long distances, It was a Goldwing .Each of which had 60,000 on it when I would sell it and buy a new one. Change oil & tires that it. Never broke down ,then again it was just breaking in. 1800 cc and Rides like a caddy and handles turns like a sportbike.
Enjoy The Ride JC
Current 1800 Goldwing

Drifting
Since I ride about 20,000 miles a year; because I have always loved to ride motorcycles, I ride a beautiful GL1800 Goldwing.
Heated seat and heated grips. Plenty of power to pass anything going normal speeds, and handles pretty good.
Handling not quite as good as my BMW K1200LT did, but still very good, with much more grunt.
If my BMW K1200LT didn't fall off its side stand and center stand all the time, I would have kept the BMW.
I tended to drive the BMW fast, more often than the Goldwing.
Both are great bikes.

I have a 2002 Ninja Kawasaki 500R sitting in my basement. It belongs to a friend of my son's and he wants me to sell it for him because I live on a busy street and he lives on a dead end street. It is red and has less than 10 k miles on it and it is in excellent condition. He is asking $2900 for it. I haven't fooled with bikes in 25 years so I don't know much about it other than I am afraid someone might steal it if I leave it unattended in my front yard.
I would really like to get it out of my basement garage as it keeps giving me "Bike" fever.

C4 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
I started riding in 71 and still have my 79 Suzuki GS850GN that was "Bike of the Year" that first year it was out. It was one of the first *** bikes that came with a drive shaft & air forks. It's a great cruser and a great sport bike.
Because where I live now it rains so much, I've switched to my 95 vette as my dd

Here's a pic of both my babies. The vette is kinda hard to see.
Does this count as a cycle?
If not here is the other toy.
Bought it new last year and it's fun as hell to drive. The moped is cool too just in a different way.

'05 Road Glide (the highway bike)
'06 Street Bob (the around towner)
Corvettes and Harleys just go together...

Time for me to share some pix!
The Honda: '98 CBR900rr. Almost makes me misty to see this pic.
Decided I wanted a dirtbike. $550 82 Yamaha IT490 (I think)
Sold the old Yammie and traded the CBR for the Honda XR
Then I had to have a streetbike again... Suzuki TLS
Wasn't riding it, so traded the Suzuki and sold the XR to get back into dirt after a two year hiatus.
One for me....
One for my son...
These two blue ones are the reason I don't have a Corvette right now. But I'm saving up again. This should be my Corvette Summer!
