Still the King......
Well, my 85 has been sold and will be off to its new owner next week. Picked up a beautiful 92 Red Vert. I cant believe the difference between the 85 and the 92.
So, why is the Corvette still the King????
I cleaned up the 92 last night and decided to go for a drive today. It is so fun watching the heads turn, people giving you the thumbs up. Im pumping gas and a guy in a new 300 ZX pulls up. So Im thinking, heres a guy in a really nice, expensive car and he cant stop looking at my 15 year old Vette. The Corvette is King because no matter the year, no matter what car pulls up next to it. It gets respect. It's the gold standard to what every other auto maker wants its sports car to be.
Ahhhhh, it's good to be King!!!!!!!

Yep, I used to own one and the last year the 300zx's were made was in '96. The reason was because they were getting too expensive and demand went down. Nissan hasn't been the same since.

Ah yeah!
Yeah, its funny. I have a "88 and I get people at the gas station, store or on the road and they give you the heads up confirming that we own a badass car. Just yesterday leaving a Golden State Warriors game, some kids in a WRX were reving the engine to what must of been like 6,000 rpm's. They were all pumped up wanting to race as they layed eyes on the "King" as Drez states. Its that moment I knew once agin that the $$$ spent was well worth it if other people take time out of their day to try and test their car vs. yours. Well for a bone stock car with 70,000 miles and 19 years of being on the road, I killed 'em. Thank goodness for large Highways. L-98 still has a little pop baby, not as much as your LT-1 Drez. Great car, way to go and get another one!!!

"HOLY S@@@" as the car behind you changes lane and next vehicle behind him is a police cruiser. Then the cruiser changes lanes and pulls beside you and rolls his window down. You stare at the red light not looking at him and then you hear the siren beep. Nautrally you cant ignore that, you look at the cruizer and the cop has dark pair of sunglass on and a stern look, then gives you the corvettes are still the king,
