Digital Instrument Panel
I have an 86 Corvette. The dash has bright lights for the turn signals and high beam indicator, but everything else is dark. Any ideas on how to fix this problem??

Here's a link to a site which covers some of the common problems and their repairs.
http://www.batee.com/corvette/dcrg/index.shtml
Also as stated above try doing a search, there are lots of threads on this topic out here with some useful information.
Good luck.

This is a very common problem on early C4's. I've had mine out and repaired twice so far and cringe every time I start it up fearing I'll get the dreaded digital dash blues all over again. This is without a doubt my biggest gripe about my car. I hate those damn dashes and would love to see an aftermarket unit that would replace it.
Try the battee web site, he does have good information there, but if you need to have it sent out for repairs there are several vendors that do it, and quite often they'll offer their services on ebay. I think they run around $185. Good luck.

99% of the time, that issue directly relates to ground, check out batee.com site for info to fix... had the same thing, cleaned all the grounds with electrical cleaner, tightened, and ran a new ground, problem resolved and haven't had any issues since.

If your turn and high beam signal lights are on, you have an open ground in the cluster and the cluster ground current is going through these lamps keeping them on. The batee site will explain how to fix this.
