Default "You will not find a nicer C4 anywhere"

so states this eBay seller of this 1986. Has anyone ever seen a bigger wing on a street car than this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...90737484QQrdZ1

Can a 406 with all the goods this motor has (AFR heads) breath with stock TPI runners??????

Seems like all the parts on the car do not match (ie. big cubes, high flow heads and stock runners???????????)

Hello all, my first post here!

Hello all, my first post here!
That's a great point. I'm no expert but from what I've read hanging around here for a few years, the answer would be no. It seems one of the first things to go when guys are ramping up L98s is the intake. Maybe it was built for the show car circuit and there really never was any intention of running real 1/4 miles. BTW, welcome!

He also mentions that the C-V joints have been replaced but I guess he means U-joints...

First, it looks like they were trying to build a track car, but half way through decided to make it halfway streetable.

Second, the description says Super Ram intake, but the picture shows a standard TPI intake.

The description does say, "Lingenfelter Super Ram intake manifold". Its just the base manifiold. The rest of the intake is stock.

There are some serious inconsistancies in the description and the way that car was built.

The Super Ram, and that's a stock TPI, maybe it has a high flow base?...

The car is built to look like a drag racer, and has some parts intended for road racing. The wing... I just don't have the words...

Someone, please point out where there is a CV joint on my car, I missed those when I replaced my half shaft...

for a track car,if you have a good sc and a transbrake you'll rum better et's and more consistent, but for a street car i would rather have a stick!

It's a nice car, and it could be alot better by undoing a few things here and there. I wonder what it will sell for ?

Upon further inspection of the photos, does anyone know what in the world the crazy looking car to the right of the Woody is (has the tall intake stacks)?

Back to the Vette……………….. it appears to have aftermarket headers, but then in goes back to the stock cat with stock diameter y pipe?????????

I called the guy and they want $35k for the car. I actually feel sorry for the “original owner/same owner” of the car. With the low 33k miles, it might be worth almost just as much if he would have just left the car alone.

But to each his own………………..

i wouldn't do it unless you're building a shameless 100% track dedicated car.

otherwise, its a ruination, you'll look like some redneck.
