So do they really work? If so what would be the benifit?

i think the only benefit is that the hot air escapes easier

I think the major benefit is the "Badazz factor". They make the C4 look mean and powerful. W A R N I N G ! This look will attract street racer/ricers.

Your absolutly right!!! The ricers are always trying to race at the lights. I just look over and laugh at em. I have no desire to race.

If I remember right from the old days (and I rarely remember right), the theory behind the cold induction hood was to take advantage of the high pressure air at the base of the windshield. The camaros and chevelles that had these hoods had an air cleaner setup that let air in to the carb from there. So unless you put the plenum on backwards, I think the benefit would be as others have said, the visual attitude.............

since i have added mine it actually does run alot cooler, when i am running air conditioning you can actually see the hot air condensating on the bottom of the windshield

from inside overlook the dirty dash it had just gotten back from the bodyshop and i hadnt detailed it yet

How did the hood line up with the bumper and doors? Any close up pictures? Looks good at a distance.

we had to do a little grinding but a good bodyman like i had can do it in about an hour or two thats what it took him to get it all lined up nicely but this is a very well built hood

Jerseyvet, Im buying some headers from a guy who has the Toledo Pro hood on hi Z, he wants to go back to stock, if youre interested I can pm you with his info, or vice versa..Maybe you guys could trade??

here's mine. they take a little work to get them to line up perfect, at least mine did. i can really see the heat waves coming out of the vents on the hood.
