Walmart's website works as a listing service for any supplier that wants to use it. You order through Walmart's website and it ships directly from the supplier.


You can buy Nitrous, Supercharger kits, even crate engines from Walmart's website.
Nothing new.

I have bought stuff on the walmart site that was from an external seller. The good is the price was half of ebay, the bad was return policy sucks unlike walmart.

So Walmart hosted the sale somehow, but the actual seller sucked to deal with.

Sure, you can get everything from coffins to sex toys. It's just a way you can sell your crap. The cam you wanted is sold by Hinson Motorsports and you best read their return instructions since you can't bring it to Wal*Mart. Think of it like going to a big store and seeing the bell ringers. They aren't Wal*Mart but they are using the facilities to get a few bucks. Think "Lot Lizards". Same principle.

Bought a Denso O2 sensor through Walmart recently. Far as I saw it actually came out of the Walmart warehouse and being I had it sent to pick up at the local store, no shipping vs. some of the other places and cost less too.

They have. Difference is it's sold and shipped by Amazon so if your a Prime member they will pay for the return.

I can imagine the "for sale" ad someday.... "88 corvette, excellent paint, clean interior, L98, PS, PB, AC, AT, Walmart performance Cam Kit, new bushings, new tires, 75k on the odometer....."

Good to know. I did buy mine in March 2017 for $134 each when no one else had them in stock at the time.
