"Hey hows it going? I got around to taking a couple of pics of a bomb personalized for the Corvette Forum. Pics are attached so check 'em out. Have to get back to work, I have alot going on these next couple of weeks.

Eddie"

Here's to Eddie and company over there fighting to make our life a better one here State-side and thanks for the "special bomb", in care of the Corvette Forum, that was awesome!!!!!!

We sent him, amoungst others, care-packages and we would like to thank Janet Curran, Doug Pund Sr. & Doug Pund Jr. for donating to the support package that was sent to those guys working their a$$'s off for us! We can't wait for him to return and Godspeed to you and company Ed, take care!!

BTW- Eddie and company have been reading the CF links I've sent them from here and they *REALLY* appreciate all of your support~ Thank you!

And the Corvette Forum!!

If anyone wants to support those guys with letters or whatever, just give jenny a call in the front office and let her know you're sending something and she will make sure it gets to them over there.

We've been sending packages on a regular basis since we first posted this and those should be arriving in IRAQ now as you read this or very soon. They *really* enjoy getting things from home and we were told it makes the time go by a *lot* faster for them. Plus, threads like this give them something to look forward to seeing when they get a chance to relax for a minute.

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Phil- DTE

Default Update Email From Eddie

I just received an email from Eddie in IRAQ today and thought some of you might like to read his thoughts. Thanks everyone for your support...it *really* means much more than you can fathom.

Hey Phil hows it going?
Just wanted to let you know that I recieved the package from the members on the Corvette Forum. I am just suprised how much people are willing to do for someone that they have never met. I mean it is really awsome to be getting support from people all over the US for what we are doing over here. Everyone is very thankful and appreciates the generosity from everyone. Again if you can let them know I said thank you and I look forward to coming home soon and getting back to work in a normal routine. It's going to be nice to work on Corvettes again and not have to worry about crap being shot over the fence at me. ttyl

Eddie

Default Update On Eddie~ He's Back Safely!!!

Update on Eddie in IRAQ~ He made it back safely!!

We just wanted to chime in here one last time to give all of you supporters of Eddie and company in IRAQ for the last few months, an update on him, as it's been a while since we've chimed in. He and 29 other of his fellow soldiers of the 122nd. Fighter Wing arrived back into the Fort Wayne Air National Gaurd Base last night at approx. 11:30 pm last night!

I kind of got a little choked up when I first saw him I was so happy he was back and anyone that know's me, know's that I don't choke up easily...

He's in good spirits, looks good and is in good health and we are *VERY* grateful to have him and the other soldiers that arrived back, safe & sound from IRAQ.

He received all our care-packages we sent him and he, amoung others, were very grateful for your generosity for what you did for them, both here on the board and what you sent his way while they were there.

Our prayers have been answered here and on behalf of myself personally and the entire staff here at DTE~ THANK YOU for the support you have given Eddie and many of our other troops while they are fighting over seas. They *REALLY* need that encouragement and appreciate it! We pray that many of you with friends or loved ones in IRAQ, will also get to see your family/friends soon.

Thank you all once again for supporting those guys/gals (and Eddie) from the bottom of my heart and I'm truly humbled by his and others' sacrifices they have made to allow me to own a business such as this! God bless our troops and God bless this country!!!

Respectfully,

Thanx Eddie for your service to our country and keeping it safe.

Being an American living in Canada I can tell you you also have the support from many Canadians also. We are thinking of you all.

Everyone be safe and hurry home.

Where is Ed located. I am currently in Camp Fallujah and was wondering if I could find him out here. I run convoy security and Explosive Odanance Disposal team securty all over iraq. Also I am a vehicle commander so if you would like an uparmored H1 with something about the corvetteforum on it let me know and I'll make it happen and post some pics. My truck is my aviator. Oh and for firepower that I couldn't picture is a 50. cal.

Thanks for the support for the troops. We appreciate it.
