Yah, I can tell that low-life has a terminal case of LT4 Lust. But he has great taste in shirts!
Seriously, though... the guy behind the camera has a Really Bad Case of Red 'Vert Envy!!!
Be well,
SJW
LMAO!!!! Was wondering if you were gonna see this post.
Yeah, I gotta say, there's truth to that statement all Corvettes are red and convertibles are just icing on the cake. Now, if I coulda gotten mine in a vert condition, that'd be just grand.
We won't comment on the taste in shirt thing.....
BTW, everyone go back and look at ImpalaBalko's first photos. I just noticed it---the guy is certifiable---that's a wash bucket out there amidst the piles of snow!!!! Thumbs up to you, my man!!!!

Rome, I want to know more info on these rims... Think these would look really good on my red vette. Shame I can't photoshop these rims on my car. Please give me some info on these rims.

Thanks for the compliments, Here ya go...
Wheels:
Rear: 18x11.5 (offset - 8.25” of backspace)
Front: 18x10 (offset - 8.5” of backspace)
Tires:
Rear: 335/30/18
Front: 275/35/18
It's not just a simple bolt on swap for the rear wheels. I'm using Exotic Muscle trailing arms and sway bar links, as well as custom made (foreward) trailing arm brackets. The EM trailing arms have the heim-jointed ends which are much narrower that the big "dog-bone" ends on the stock trailing arms. Using these, I was able to manufacture thinner but stronger foreward brackets which positioned the trailing arms further inboard by roughly an extra 1/2 inch or so on each side. The only point of contact after that was the square shaped brake line bracket that would touch the tire when I hit fair sized dips in the road. I was able to round off the shape of it and remove the unnecessary extra material from the braket. After that, I had zero contact issues, even with the car lowered an inch or so.
The next time I have the custom trailing arm brackets off of the car, I'm going to have them blueprinted so anyone wanting to do this mod can just come to this website and download the specs. They are very simple brackets made out of standard U-channel steel, and pretty much any local fabricator/metal shop would have no trouble knocking out a pair of them in no time using a ban saw and a drill press.

Those wheels are GORGEOUS! I'd have passed on my last 4 sets for them.

I am curious about something - If one were to use 18X10 in the rear running a 315 or 295, would this fit without modification?

I went retro on my 89. I traded up my 93 crappy condition sawblades /w crappy tires + peeling clear coat for these 100% perfect 84-87 16" wheels. I actually like these 255/50/16 tires because the ride feels a lot softer.

suspension mod pics?
Rome do you have any pics of the suspension mods that you did in the rear? Also are you experiencing any rubbing with the 315 up front under hard cornering or big bumps?
