?????? Erie Pa. and the vette is out w/top down
This winter is killing me. I should have had over 100 hours on my sled....But the car has been out with the top down 8 times in the last 2 weeks. The temp was 50 degrees today. Dress warm and let her top down. I have lived here 7 years and this is a first!

I remember those days... I used to live in Delaware. That first warm day (over 50) felt like summer... especially after a month of 30F days.
The last bad winter I was in DE was the winter of 2003 (2004 was rather wimpy). That winter, we had a killer storm in early February... then 2 weeks later... 30"+ inches of snow, the famed presidents day storm of 2003.
It rained its *** off a week later. This cold whipping rain.
But it stayed cold. I went to FL, it was nice there, but when I got home, it was still cold.
Then one nice April Saturday, late in the month. It wasn't raining (rare that year, it seemed) and everyone was out at the local cruise-in. Hell, we couldn't even park on the grass, cause it was so soaked with rain and snow melt. But it was WARM that nite... the day was into the 70s, and the evening was still warmer and the sun was still out (DST rocks!).
I don't have to worry about this anymore... I live in sunny SoCal... But it is a fond memory.

Same situation here up north.
We back onto a ravine that already sports a fair amount of dead and
ill trees. I'm concerned enough I am updating our home inventory and
looking into the feasibility of fire suppression systems.
It's been great to be able to sneak out a couple of times on nice days
but the bigger picture doesn't look good.

Was nice enough yesterday here to drive without the top. Never seen a January like this one.

Winfield, Pa. here. Had mine out yesterday as well. I'll take January's like this anytime, easy on the heat bill. I have a feeling we'll be getting
the nasty stuff in Feb.

I too had my '87 Vert out yesterday here in Western PA. The temperatures were inthe high 50's. I didn't take too long of a ride because there is still salt residue on the roads. It won't be long though until those cool Spring rides in the countryside will begin again.

Seems like a warmer winter all over the US and Canada this year.
