Default Big meats are here! Woo Hoo!

Fed Ex guy dumped these off while I was out to breakfast. 275/40s and 315/35s Sumitomos from the Tire Rack. Cost me $443.37 with shippping.
Now just waiting for the Black Chrome ZR1 wheels from AFS. Hope the snow holds off so I can do a test drive. I also hope the local-yokel tire shop can do the mounting. These suckers are wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide!

Wow! You can really see the difference in the tire widths by that pic. I love my Sumitomos BTW. Great tires!

Get a good balance on them, all that mass will really be noticable if it's out of balance..... more so at speed....

Going on my 87 vert. The AFS wheels I purchased are manufactured with the correct offset for the 84 - 87 Corvette and these are the tires they recommend.
Where the heck is Elkton, Michigan?

Now stack them up, climb inside and have someone take a pic!

J/K.. But serious, stack'em. It'll make a great shot. When I got my 255's and 285's the place had them stacked and everyone that walked by just stared at the mountain of rubber sitting there...

You didn't order the tire/wheel package from AFS?

I ordered the black ZR-1 wheels with 17x11 in back. The price was less than the web site. $1,350.00 shipped, mounted and balanced. They should be in either today or tomorrow.

I can't remember if those rims and tires were afs or not
I believe I paid about 2,200 but I got the chrome ZR1 wheels, I know the back tires are $325 a piece. Elkton is in the thumb of MI.
