If money weren't an issue what changes would you make to it?
I'll shoot-
The 89:
Lower it
More cubes-lots of 'em, with LT's and no stupid precats
Supercharger
Redo interior
Sounds
All new bushings and upgraded suspension components
Cosmetic restoration
The 90:
Top end package
Seats recovered
Rims, drop it an inch

She's big alright, she ain't fittin is no vette bro. Lets talk a little Mariah Carey action, she's got that C5 rear end if you know what I mean and man oh man, the end of that "shake it off" video is driving me crazy. Every time I see it I try to get closer to the screen to get a better look.
Oh by the way, I'm keepin my vette stock.

i'm done with mine. a few minor cosmetic things, thats pretty much it.
the important thing is to continue paying off the performance mods, all the necessary "while you're at its" when that was done, oh and that 2nd rebuild. at this point $4k left out of a total amount i dare not even add up (would easily wreck a wet dream). a long and ugly road.
next time i'm getting one thats already jacked up to the gills.
i will never again go thru what i went thru........waaaaay too much price to pay out of the emotions dept. that damned 2nd rebuild doubled the overall cost.
from now on, its only maintenance. with the performance and the original options, i've got more than i could ask for. and no more money poured in, otherwise.

Well on my 90 I finally have all parts for top end package, good exhaust (not yet installed), trans is done etc. enough ($$$) for this year.
AS to a wish list.....I like the c-4 style so......... I guess the ultimate package would be to remove c-4 bod and install (somhow/someway) on new Z-06 chasis/drivetrain......to me that would be the best upgrade, oh yeah, need to additionally mod the new mill also

Aw heck, I'll play too:
'94:
Re-tint side windows, or maybe replace windows AND re-tint (same tint level)
Replace blue tinted glass top
Replace side gills; paint
Repaint front bumper at a different shop since first shop did a cr@p job
Refinish/polish all wheels
Replace cruise control **** (writing is worn off)
Finish re-dying/conditioning seat bottoms (actually doing this now) or just replace
Replace rear hatch glass and re-tint to same level
Maybe some LT headers, new intake, cams/heads
'89:
It's bone stock so I have a TON of work to make this thing roar. Would like a chip burned for it and various engine work, LT headers, new intake, exhaust, make the suspension nice and solid, SS brake lines and race pads, etc. Gonna try not to 'pretty up' this thing since it'll eventually be tracked but one thing is for sure those late 80s/early 90s wheels have got to go. Want to put on Grand Sport black wheels, add the red hashes, and tint the windows as dark as the state of VA will let me. Other than cleaning/conditioning up the interior not gonna do a whole helluva lot of appearance mods.
I'm sure there's more there always is. I need to wear a cardboard sign around my neck saying 'will work for corvette parts'.

C7 of the Year - Unmodified Finalist 2021
C4 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
Repainted Black and buy a body-color top, SR 383 with possibly a SC, TH400+GV OD unit, perhaps I'll go to the later rounded bumper or the ZR1 rear bumper, completely new suspension components from VBP and R-D Racing (everything they have on the shelves). D44 rear axle with 3.07s. Baer/Alcon 6-piston calipers, or maybe Wilwood.
Then replace the interior carpeting, or get it all done in vinyl leather-like, entirely new sound system but nothing extravagant. Maybe someday I'll just convert to the newer style interior without the digidash, I dont know.
But it will probably be a full decade before the car is completely done, if I do all that. Hopefully all the engine/suspension stuff will be done within 3-5.

Lets be honest - If money weren't an issue I'd sell the '88 and buy the most pristine ZR-1 I could find. And then a Z06 to keep it company.
But assuming money wasn't unlimited but enough available - repaint, lower, 6 spd, twin turbos, and a big *** spoiler! nah - just kidding, no turbos, er spoiler.
my .02
