It's hot outside and cool inside
Consider this as an update on my Meziere HD electric coolant pump. It's been over 2 years now, maybe 10K, and the pump is still running great. The past few days down here in the south has been in the mid to high 90s with all the humidity. Yes it's hot! I had to drive to a photo shoot some 30-40 miles away and it was too hot to drop the top. That means I had to use the air. I was pleasantly suprised to see my coolant temp stay glued right at 185-190 even in traffic with the A/C blasting! As a matter of fact, when cruising at 70 plus, the temp was at 192 and in stop and go traffic it dropped to 185. The air was pumping some great cool air. This was the first real test of my A/C and I'm pleased. Facts: I run a 180 stat in my 92 LT1 and my condensor and radiator fins are clean, new anti freeze (green stuff with only distilled water) and of course the Meziere Heavy duty coolant pump. BTW, the oil temps was ranging from 200 to 230.
In short, this was, IMHO, a great modification to our LTXs.

I've got a can of R12 I'd have given you before you rubbed our noses in your photo shoot repeatedly. What is this, like the 42nd thread you've mentioned it in? Yes, I love my Meziere too. Usually around 205 year around, doesn't really matter. Only other cooling mod is slightly altered fan settings. Got it almost up to 215 while auto-Xing yesterday in the 95 degree heat!

Time after time I hear nothing but excellent feedback on these pumps! How many amps do they draw and is it a straight bolt on?
