Default You know your obsessed about your Vette if...

...you currently have 18 rims/tires for it..

Come on, lets hear em!

At least now I know why I am dead broke...no joke.
Don't worry I just sold four of each.

I have:
3 sets of race tires (auto-x/4 are just dead now)
+
6 daily drive tires.... (came with mismatching fronts=4+2)
+
4 1985 rims (set of race tires)
+
4 1986 stock polished rims (DD)
+
4 1992 stock rims (mount race tires)
+
2 17x11 ZR1 rims... (mount race tires )

Somebody please tell me they can beat me.....

You got me beat.

I do have multiple sets of wheels though.

I have the AFS Grand Sport wheels on my '95, the originals are stored away.

I have Weld wheels all the way around on my '93, the originals are stored.

Then I have two sawblades with drag radials and two C5 wagon wheels with drag radials and two spare sawblade wheels.

When I had my truck, I had three sets of wheels for that and three sets of wheels for my Dodge.

But now I'm down to just the vette wheels since I sold my truck and my MOPAR.

I have some polished AFS Grand Sports on mine right now... with a set of polished sawblades awaiting race rubber... the stock CE wheels are stored away, and a set of saw blades for the drag radials.

The true test of obsession came when I made the conscious choice to tell my wife that the azz end of the vette was prettier than hers since it didn't have any dents in it. Knowing full well I'd have to sleep in the car for the weekend. Best rest I ever got

Just damn! I only have two sets of wheels - the Gun Metal ZR1s on it now and the original sawblades waiting for refinishing (yet another project). A full set of Kumho 712s and two Bridgestone 730s ready to be burned off at some point.

I've only got four stock sawblades with pirellies.

Then four chrome 17x9-1/2 ZR1 style A-molds also w/pirellies.

Then 2 17x11 ZR1 Rears w/ Mickey Thompson ET street drag radials.

So yep, ya got me beat.

I'm glad to see there are people out there sicker than me. I have four 17x9.5 chrome ZR1 replicas with 275/40-17 tires and two 18x9.5 Z06 replicas (no tires). I also have two 265/35-20's for my Cadillac STS.

FYI, I'll admit, I am doing this on the cheap. For instance 84-87 rims run what, 25$. So keep that and my race tires are all used in mind, but still its absurd!

I am glad to see there others out there like me though!

I bet Ultraslow or 8388 can beat that. The last time I saw a picture from inside one of their garages I thought it was a Firestone tire shop.

Ive got the set of four 9.5 inch wheels that came on the car when I bought it and the 9.5/ 11 inch chrome GS combo thats on it now.... keeping the others case I ever need a spare...
I left tires on two rims so I dont ever have to run with one 11 and one 9.5 out back
the other 2 will get DRs mounted on them eventually
