Default Shifter **** recomendations

I recently upgraded my 6sp shifter with a B&M. I love it. However I damaged the factory shift **** trying to get the lock pin out, someone had glued it in place. I want to install and after market shift ****. Here is my concern... I have a vert so the shifter is exposed to the sun, so I need a **** that won't get really hot while soaking in the rays. Can any one reccomend a quality **** that doesn't get too hot in the sun??

This is the only thing that I could find but I'm not Sure if they fit the C4.

You may have to invest in a good pair of driving gloves or go back to stock.

PM Mr. Mojo... his shift **** is neat. I don't remember where he got it though. He told me once... but my shot glass of a brain is full.

Whatever you do, don't get a metal ****. I have a black plastic Hurst **** on mine and it gets pretty hot in the sun. I would look for something that was leather or rubber coated.

I am using a shift **** out of a Z06 (threading is the same) The C4 OEM Pattern insert is the same size as the C5 and fits nicely

Flameball here. I have the red, white, and blue one. It is killer. Get lots of compliments on it also.

My chrome hammer shifter from Hurst does that too, which is why I went back to a delrin shifter from Hardbar (forum vendor)

The white Hurst ball should reflect sunlight as well as anything else.
