Default hated the berg ramps this is what I did instead come in and get a laugh (pics)

I bought some berg ramps didn't like them did this instead so from now till the next oil change I'll have something better hopefully a 4-post lift.

what I used was just some kinda of ramps I found laying around their those commercial jobs and stuck some boards under um....did the job

figured u guys with the 4-post lifts or the nice homemade lifts would get a kick outta this

Lifted it up about 4" which was actually plenty for me to get under

this angle showed the pinnacle shine

This is a barn me my dad and brother are still building it's a 58x50 it is 30x50 with 14ft leans so this will be HOPEFULLY where a 4-post lift will go before the next oil change.

I would have just used a jack at that point. There is no way my fat butt would fit under there, I love my 15.75" tall ramps

Hmm, gonna need to pour a slab in there, won't be fun doing it in a finished building either.

And look everybody, it's pinoexxx everyone's favorite corvetteforum member who never has anything useful to add to conversations besides spiteful remarks. It must take a LOT of work to be that much of an asshat, or it comes naturally.

Yeah after we get the tin on the front then the floor will go in and finish it up wireing etc.

I want to put a lift in there but those dang things are 3k bucks not sure if they're worth that much but I'm thinking if you look around a used one can be had for what 1,500 maybe? be nice to have one in there it will only be a storage barn so the cows in the back ground are not allowed in there!

oh and thanks for the tip pionexxxx

Who is this douche bag, and what is he doing in c4g?

I've found the yellow "lego" looking ramps to be the easiest to use, if no lift is available.

I can't get a regular floor jack under my car - it's too low. I have to drive it up on boards too.

Default Love your ramps.....

You should try to market them on the Forum. Just kidding-whatever works. Your jack and a set of jack stands also work well. Jack stands sell for $14.95 at Pep Boys.

[QUOTE=Kale]Who is this douche bag, and what is he doing in c4g?

I don't know what he is doing, my solution was to go into UserCP and add the to my ignore list.

Really? the only ramps I've seen at wal-mart are rhinos are they scrape unless you put some boards infront of them and my bergs are the exact same thing as the rhinos degrees wise and everything.

Ever think of putting a service pit into your new barn? Should be a good bit cheaper than a lift. Thats what I plan to do when I build a house.

Yellow "Lego" ramps? Where do you get them and are they expensive? I'd like to get a new set.

As for the other stuff, IBTL

If Wildman378 builds something and it works for him, but "you" don't like it, who are "you" to say something negative about it? Just because "you" don't like what he happened to build or put together, is no reason to bad mouth the guy. And when I refer to "You", "you" know who I'm referring to.

No one told "you" to go ahead and duplicate his build or to use what he says works for him. If "you've" got nothing good to say, say nothing at all. Unless, "you" have constructive criticism, and "you" don't. And when I say, "you", I'm referring to the person whose uses the first letter of "P" in his forum name. You all know who "you" is.

Sorry Wildman378 for "P"'s comments. His intellectual capacity obviously precludes him from writing anything intelligent.

Hey Wildman, you're almost there. Just build a front stand and a way to jack up the back.

I love my Kwik lift.
