Hello all:
It seems that there is a lot talk about the side vent grille kits for the C6.
Well, now there is a kit for all you C4 Boyz.........
Check out the picture of the kit installed on a 96 Vette.

we know what rice is, i was referring to why people jump to say things are rice. to me that looks good, and actually functional for me. there's lots of leaves falling where i park and i get leaves stuck in between there and its a pain to remove. this would stop the leaves from coming in. my issue is not liking it or not, its just people using terms they have no idea what they're talking about.

what i think is this people calling "RICE" to any modification on the body of your car, are this "old school" people ,they cant stand for younger people messing around with vettes!!

i pretty much dont ever give an opinion on c4 styling because if its different from stock people claim rice because of either
1. trying to be something your not
2. putting something on that has no function
3. too much bling
, but then these same people say nothing about gs marks and zr1 wheels etc. I think it looks alright,depending on the price i would maybe pick up a set.

Well I am 'Old School" and I don't like GS stipes especially when they clash with the color of the car. But most of us who bought a vette bought it because we liked the way it looks. Now C4's are cheap enough for youngsters to buy them but the people who bought them new will always want them to stay " original" and guess what? Those vents are BUTT Ugly and will probably detract from the value of the car unless you can find someone who likes them and you won't find many here. Spend or waste your money as you wish. RICE if I ever saw it but then my car eats rice he he he.......
