Default Safest nitros setup

I have seen setups where the plate is behind the throttle body. Seems that the risk of this setup is solenoid failure dumping nitros into your engine while at idle.

I have also seen other systems where the fuel/nitros is injected in front of the throttle body. With this setup, I would expect that the risk is dumping fuel into the intake tract and risking fire.

I was wondering if a safer setup would be to use the plate for fuel only and add nitros ahead of the throttle body. The idea being that fuel leaking into a manifold is not that critical. Nitro leaking into the intake may escape via the air filter.

Default Re: Safest nitros setup (Carl90)

you worry too much.

you can't seperate them. if you have a wet kit, they have to be together to atomize the mixture.

Either way, keep the bottle off and it'll never leak nitrous, and if it's leaking fuel...well you'll know because it'll be spittting out the black smoke.

Buy a new kit from a reptuable manufacturer and you won't have any troubles
