Default Would this intercooler fit???

Would this intercooler fit the early ATI systems? If so, would the engine run cooler due to less blockage then the one that comes with the standard kit? I know that some here to include Black Bart have made intercoolers for their setup at considerable expense. I am just looking at options to reduce the heat soak problems associated with the ATI system. Thanks!!!

I didn't see any pitcures on the E-bay site. You could make a side to side intercooler work but after I researched it a bit I decided to go from bottom to top design. Go out to turbnetics site and look for an intercooler core (there's flow awesome CFMs) and have someone fab up the endtanks for you. This way you can truly get a piece that will work for the least amount of fuss... Be warned, if you go with a bottom/top design you will probably have to go to a shorter aftermarket radiator.

Take care,

Tony

I don't think that cooler would flow enough to keep up with the system i am designing.. gonna have to be a bottom to top like the GN cars use... something with a length of about 21-24" and a internal flow length of about 8-10" and about 3.5" thick...
