I think that viper may have had a bit more than spray however it was impressive to say the least

It looks to me like the vette was laying down on the big end or he started to get out of it due to pucker factor. Watch his speedometer. Just my .02. Cool video though...

the vette was pulling hard on 3rd gear but lost it at 4th gear. If you look at his speedometer he is doing about 170-180mph. If the viper did not spray, it would be all over. Honestly, I would expect to see the viper win because the viper is also supercharged and nitrous.

The Z06 was dynoed 650rwh 642rwqt Where the Viper was dyno 632rwhp without the juice, Probably 750-800rwhp with the juice.

No it is my mistake. I was looking at his speedometer, look like he was doing 170mph but it is not. He posts on the C5 forced induction section, he says he was doing 135mph

622 w/o no2 and 720 with no2 (with better fuel...timing on both #'s). Stock motor/heads with roller rockers.

I think the vette was starting to back out. Something tells me that once you start to hit the 140+MPH mark, the race is over. If the person hasn't pulled me by that time I'm out personally when on a 55MPH road. Hell there's not a great deal of cars that can do much over that (140mph).

Overall sweet vid. I've watched it several times just for the cool factor
