Good Nitrous system cost

From experience, what would be the best system for my '89 383? The bottom end is all forged. What is the max safe shot for my set up? I know next to nothing about NOS but I'm thinking it would be nice to be sneaky! Specifics and est costs would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

You can expect to pay as much as $1200 for a good safe set up. There a lot of guys running 100-150 shots on stock bottom ends all day so for your forged system you should be safe w/ a similiar set up. I have heard of people using much more on forged bottoms, for example dual stage set ups, but do not know much about them.
