Is there a smog inspection/test in Atanta, GA??

I'm moving to Atlanta Georgia next month. As I currently live in Kansas, I've built my car without consideration to smog requirements. Also, can you buy 100 octane unleaded at the pump in Atlanta? There are a few places here that you can buy it at the pump day or night for $4-$5 per gallon...just pop in your credit card and you're good to go! If there are any persons from Atlanta on this board, I would enjoy hearing about the car scene there (specifically, I'm moving to Marietta, GA).

I had an offer for a directorship at a larger Chemical company near Marietta a in Feb, but could not bring myself to move from TX. The CoL is very similar to Houston, as I hear the traffic is as well. So... I can only imagine that emissions testing will be in full effect in that area as well. Maybe someone from the area will step up to comment.

THis is just another reason that I am trying to develop the means to pass the state emissions test LEGALLY (as posted in my other thread).

I live in Atlanta and yes we do have emissions.......and they do a visual and the normal testing so ....be prepared.....Now I myself have no smog stuff at all...I mean nothing.....I know my car runs clean enough, but won't pass a visual....Always know where there is a will, there is a way to get things done.........Come on to ATL....There is a great club I am a member of local...and it's a great group of people.....We do alot of fun stuff.....Great people.
