It looks like it may clear the hood of a C4. My turbo flange sits about even with the valve cover gasket as well, but they are using a smaller turbo. I don't like the "log" style manifolds but if you aren't looking for much, then they are fine. I really don't like the placement of their wastegate pipe either. It looks like it could work on a stock LT1 car, because there really isn't anything on that side of the engine. I believe the air compressor is on that side of most/all L98's so you may have to get creative with placement. I would like to know what kind of boost they had to run to get the power figures that they claim. I would like to know the whole setup! There is "ALOT" left to do even after you buy this kit. It really is nothing more than a manifold and a turbo. If you can handle building/fabbing all the rest of the system, I would just build my own. Those log manifolds don't look to hard to build. I've seen alot worse than what you've shown, and they still make power. Good luck!
