Default Procharger idler pulley...Beware

Just got a call for the shop installing my engine............the idler pulley, the one that wraps the belt around the supercharger drive pulley is worn 1/16 deep on only 1/2 of the pulley surface............what the heck?.........the bearings turn smooth , no free play............hmmmmm.........called procharger and sure enough its a common problem with the corvette.............4000 miles on this p600b...........dam one more thing to worry about........procharger wants $120.00 for a new one.........they can kiss the baby.........put it on a drill press and file it down........replace bearings just to be safe.

Post note.......ATI tech called back and said the $120.00 was for the whole assembily, bolts, spacers. bearings, retainer clip, etc. and for just the pulley the price was $25.00...cool.
