Default Where to put the nozzle for 75hp dry kit.

OK, I finally did it. Went got a 75 shot, but don`t know where to install the nozzle. Does it go before the mass air folw meter or after next to the throttle body. Will I have to change my fuel pump? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. This kit was given to me by a friend, so I don`t have any instruction.

I am not a major in nos but all the dry kits I have seen the nozzle goes to the air box and the wet kits go in the middle of the throttle body and the mass air......you don't want to shoot fuel through your mass air sensor . I do think this is correct as for exact location still should wait for a more detailed response from another member....

It goes between the mass air and the throttle body. What year is your Corvette? You should post this as some other owners can chime in.
I upgraded my fuel pump. Some kits (NOS) come with a pump that goes into your existing fuel line under the car. You can also change out your stock pump with a high performance pump. I installed a Walbro pump. Anyway an upgrade is recommeded.

On the fuel pump issue. My kit came with an auxilliary pump.As for the nozzle, I have heard both. Some say that spraying before the MAF allows the computer to add the necessary fuel using the air volume readings. I have no clue how true/false this may be. I was spraying before the MAF, and was super rich, so this theory may prove true. I switched my nozzle to upstream of the MAF and have run much better.
Good Luck.

You can probably safetly go up to 100hp with your stock fuel pump, upgrade is always nice though. Besides if you jet it for 100hp you're probably only going to get 80 "real" hp. My understanding is that you can safetly go 100-150 all stock, but after that you need to change plugs, retard timing, add fuel and some other mods & precautions. I'm running 100 shot on factory fuel pump, stock ignition, stock injectors etc. (I really never hear too many people running dry systems these days) If you don't know where the nozzle goes... you probably don't know enough about nitrous to be using it SAFETLY & EFFECTIVELY anyway. Do more homework! N20 is safe & fun when installed and used properly. You should make sure to install a WOT switch as well as some other things. Good luck with your project... just my 2 cents!
