Default NOS questions..

Sometime soon I'd like to get a a 30-40 shot of NOS (the safest kit available) in my car. Everything is pretty much stock right now (see sig), and I'll have exhaust before I get the NOS. So I was just wondering if anyone can tell me a little about this, and anything I'll need to upgrade, maybe some prices. Thanks!

AS far as i know the lowest shot for a v8 is 75
that is what i run and it gives the car a second quicker time in in the quarter
and 11/2 second with a 125 shot.just make sure you keep the bottle at 85 degrees or so and run a spark plug with a short electrode.
and never engauge nitrous under 3000 rpms.

On your 75 shot are you using a wet or dry set up and if you are using a wet setup did you use a window switch or do you just hit the button at 3000rpm ......I have had so many people try to get me to go with the wet and then some say you can puddle to much fuel go with the dry what is your experience with this .....

sounds like you're serious juice virgin bud! here's some pointers-

research and understand nitrous before you install it -what it does to your engine, how it makes horsepower

don't say "noss" in public, or around people who know anything about nitrous oxide systems

don't take it to some shop and pay them to do it and not think about it. nitrous is serious stuff, even under 150hp. don't start thinking"my car as 400 horsepower" because you use the N20 and get that number. keep your state of mind at the 275hp level.

I use a wet system and the other 5 guys I race with have wet systems.
you need to read what it takes to run nitrous for some it is easy to understand and for others it is rocket science .you are adding 37%+ oxygen to your engine at 127 below 0 degrees so running a wet kit is easy if you follow the rules.dry kits are not as adjustable if you run in competion.dry kits are great if yoiu just want to push a button and go nx makes the best kit for this and power is based on bottle pressure and run through their own computer and works good but if you want to adjust to fine tuning spects a dry kit is not the way to go .
