Default Procharger kit... anyone have pics and details?

Was wondering if anyone had details on the Procharger kit, specifically the P-1SC (whichever isn't the P600-B)? What all does this include? Does it come with everything needed for install, even if the engine is still set-up stock? Any pictures to show the quality of this product?

Thanks.

There goes all my responses :(

Anywho... also along with that, what kind of slippage issues have you guys seen? The smaller pulleys will strech the belt more over time than the larger ones because of turnign upt he boost higher, making it spin faster, right?

If you have an LT-1 you will have nothing but belt slip issues and will not be able to get more than 6psi.

People think this isn't that bad, however, where belt slip reeeeeally sucks is when you down shift and hit high revs. What happens is the belt slips immediately and you'll barely get any boost.

If you roll into the power band the belt grips better, but it's just a bad situation all around. If you bought a kit, send it back and get a Vortech kit with a custom 8 rib setup.

I have the P600B. Slipping is a big issue on the L98 and I can't get more than a few punds of boost. The belt is definately the weakness of the design.

Sorry, not the best picture of the setup.

What kind of boost can you get out of the Vortech? Can you get a pulley to push around 10-12psi?

How much hp are you actually able to hit with this set up? Would I be better off just going n/a vs. a supercharger? There's always the turbo set-ups which I'd rather have, but the $$ is outrageous, thank God we got some forum members working on things now.

There's no turbo kits available, you'll have to fab your own, but a bunch of people have and are working on easier ways for the rest of us.

I must reemphasize that even though belt slip is an issue with both L98's and LT1's at least ASP can get you an 8 rib or cogged pulley setup for the vortech's. Do a little research and you'll find it. LT1's are SOL when it comes to belt options.

Last time I dynoed it a few years ago, it was 318 RWHP. At that time, I had the P600B, 52mm TB, 1.6 RR, Stock Cam, Stock Converter, stock Auto, and Hooker Headers and a lot of belt slip.

I too have the P600B. I have a 2.55 pulley we will install once the car comes out of storage. Slippage has not been an issue (I'm aware of) since we placed an adjustment rod on the Zoops AC bracket.
