I called Vortec looking for a supercharger kit for my 88 C4. They directed me to "Blower Works", used to be called "Carol's". Anyway, they make a kit and use the Vortec. The guy was very knowlegable and spent alot of time answering my questions. Anyone heard of them???

last oct or nov I call carolls to buy a gauge mount.........no one awsered the phone...I called two times two differant days and then finally left a message....two days later they called back........he wanted to know if I had a caroll kit, like they wouldn't sell me one if not...so I lied and said it was a caroll supercharger kit and then he took the information and credit card number.....never saw the gauge mount but they didn't hit the credit card ether...I've called serveral times sense and still no one awsers the phone.
So I bought one from eckers..........It would be tough to deal with a company like this. :chevy
Re: Anyone heard of these guys? (lead foot 85 vet)
Personally, I don't have experience dealing with the company, but from what I know of their kits they are the most complete reliable kits available. They cover all the bases and don't take short cuts like ATI
You can't go wrong.
If you buy and ATI kit you'll end up replacing half the components with better ones.

I emailed them about the hood prop relocation kit and also about the side fender plastic thing they use to complete their supercharger install. NEVER HEARD a word from them.
I have had two Carrol kits. Very complete. But if you can't reach them, how good is their warrany? I have their catalog next to the computer. If you have questions about their products email me. But again, if you cant reach them.....
The most expensive component is the head unit, and that's warranted from the factory anyway. I'm sure all you need is proof of purchase to satisfy Vortech.
I am currently dealing with them. Good quality parts, terrible customer service. It has been almost four months and I am still missing parts., they have my money, and I don't have all the stuff ordered. I did not buy a complete kit from them, maybe that is why taking so long. They also wanted cash, check or money order. Stated that they had some problems with the credit card machine or something....Good Luck
If you want to get a SCREAMIN' deal on a new supercharger system, call John at Superchargers, Inc. here in Indy.. John beat Superchargers Online by $600 for mu ATI f2 head unit...his number is (317) 440-2314. He is also a Vortech dealer.
