Default What to do now???????????

Well guys... got my engine torn down in the car... have rusted cylinders and some scarring on the cylinder walls on the back drivers side cylinders with no apparant sign of the head gasket being blown on my 96 LT4.. was tearing down for a stumbling i figured was an old optispark finally gone bad.. very similar symptoms as our other vettes when their's died. However this one seemed to be detonating BADLY. so got the front apart and figured i would swap wires and plugs and remove some unneeded items unde the hood as we usually do... AIR tubing...factory manifolds and wire looms.. when i got the drivers side manifold off, there was water in the exhaust port of the head... i thought this is not right... so off came the heads and here we are..

so motor is on its way out, just breaking for a snack... in light of this event, i am cleanign out the garage and selling off several old items so if anyone needs anything.. take a peak on the c4 parts for sale section... and i am now laying the planwork for the new motor.. low compression 355 using the stock LT4 crank and rods and forged dished pistons.. going to be in the ball park of 8.7-9.1 compression... will likely install our procharger thats laying around waiting for a home with a hotcam and long tube headers and ported heads until i have the money to start the turbo project... just wanted to share.. we'll keep ya posted!
