I'm wondering what it would take to mount the P600B (L98 KIT) on the other side? Since I've totaly eliminated my AC system I'm wondering if it might make more sense to mount it over there?

Anyone have any thoughts about doing this? Has it been done before? What would be the biggest obstacle?

Thanks

KM

To mount it on the right side you have to rotate it 180 degrees this will point the outlet toward the engine but it will be on the bottom instead of on top so you will have to custom build all of the tubes. I'm building a custom tube setup for mine right now but for a different reason. That would be a lot of work for no gain in performance How about a P600 on both sides :D I thought about doing that but decided to keep the ac and go with a bigger blower on the left side it has to have larger tubes everthing must be custom made since the blower flows nearly twice what the P600 will.

It is better to have the supercharger on the drivers side. That will put it closer to the crank on the belt and reduce bearing load on all accessories after the supercharger ( alternator, waterpump ... ). I don't know if this is a big issue but anything helps. I put the alternator on the passenger side where the A/C pump used to be.
