Default Max boost?

Hi..

Anyone have a table of max boost vs. comp.?

(the blower is a 600B with 2 core+ intercooler forged internals)

Thanks/N.

I think you could only run 8psi intercooled on anything above 9.1 or 9.5 compression. If you run 8.5 to 1 compression with forged pistons, rods, and crank you could run quite a bit more than 8. Monty has a twin turbo setup and I'm pretty sure he runs more than 15 or 17psi boost. He gots a 427ci sb tt its like 2.8hp per cubic inch. So from what I read and heard is that you could run high boost on 8.5 to 1 compression. ;)

Oden,

Procharger (ATI) shows a chart on their web site , a reason for intercooling...

I agree about 8 is max with 10.5 compression.. if you intercool you can push a little more. ATI gives a pretty good description of pros cons and baackground... you have probably the same 2 core I'm running... it has about 1.5 psi loss, I have heard of folks running at least 10 ... but with pump gas, I think you are gonna hit a wall going any higher... my humble opinion...
