lets review our fizix. when you take a turn fast there is centrifical force pushing you to the outside of the turn. Your gas also feels this. If it slides too far the fuel pump won't have anything to pickup causing hesitation and a little stumble under hard acceleration.
In my gas tank there is a little tray in the bottom that the fuel pump sits in but it still has the same thing when it's around a quarter of a tank. Solution, redesign the gas tank, or just keep filling it up if you are planning on turning hard corners and accelerating :D
