Default ATI D1SC "Kit"

What all comes in the D1SC ATI "kit". Also, what components of the kit usually get discarded (FMU). One of these days I will get enough extra cash to be able to throw a blower on my ride and just want to get a little information, 2003 may be my year.

Here is my basic guess at what I will need, not including lowering the compression of my motor.

Thanks
D1SC "Kit" - blower, brackets, pulley, FMU, tubing, fuel pump?, blow off tube.
I will add to this a MSD-6BTM or current equivelant.
My fuel system is already upgraded to handle the power so I will discard whatever pump came with the kit, but would like to know details about the components they ship out. Is it like a T-rex pump or what?
It the blow off valve they send beefy enough? I know that usually the ones in the kit are the very minimum needed.

I also know a program will need to be updated for the system as well.

Chris
The D1-SC kit come with everything you need to complete the install, All tubings and surge valve or (bov). IT does not come with fuel pump, FMU or injector. But it can be purchase as a option for around $400 I think but I don't remenber. D1 is a race version blower don't come with fuel system as I mentioned above. Only P600 and P1SC come with fuel system.

Thanks Bruce. I saw one place it said it came with an FMU and fuel pump and another it stated to the contrary and I would not want either anyway so that is a good thing.

At least mine did not come with fuel system. The purpose of buying the D1 blower is to be able to run more boost. Well when more boost is apply, then the ATI supply fuel system are not good enough. So, it don't really matter if it comes with FMU or fuel pump.

When you are ready to buy the D1SC kit. Make sure you tell them how many # of boost you wana run and specify your motor, 383, 396, etc. and head flow. That way they can help you select the right pulley for your desire boost level for your application.

One major thing I am concerned about is the belt slipping under boost. Do you have the problem or did you upgrade to an 8 rib setup?

Thanks.

i have belt slippage but that is because oil was dripping on my belt, but as for the kit i got all the parts needed and very simple to install just takes alot of time and it is worth the time when tuned.
