Default Best by-pass valve for ProCharger superchargers

Hello

What´s the best by-pass valve for ProCharger superchargers

I have the stock procharger bypass valve but it can't hold any more pressure than approx 10psi. Need a better one who hold about 15psi of boost. Are there any other make than procharger who has a by-pass valve who will fit and work with procharger? price?make?partno?

thanks

regards

tomas

Tomas,

Wow, you have quite the system there... I would suggest looking into HKS They have many that are adjustable unlike the procharger bypass valve. They have many that have flare mounts and up to 1 3/4 inch hose fittings. They seem to run about $ 300 USD and up .

Pro charger makes a race valve it is much better also more expensive.
I have a new D1-R ordered and they recomended that I use the race unit.
If your boost gauge is showing 12lbs with the p600 then your valve sure isn't leaking much.

I run a Vortech Mondo valve.

I never had any issue with the ATI valve holding the boost, just would not relieve a large enough volume of air when decelerating out of full boost. I would repeatedly blow the elbow boot going into the TB during the shift from 3rd to 4th gear. The Mondo valve is a very positive seal, but is not nearly as neat packaging wise, and also makes a bit of noise when venting. When looking at the tech specs for the "new" ATI unit vs the Mondo, the Mondo valve will handle much more flow, quieter than the ATI (which relieves like a HKS unit), and is somewhat cheaper. That is why I went with the Vortech unit. But, they all seem like they would do the job just fine.
