Get to build a new motor, recommendations for specs with Vortech SQ?

Grenaded the bottom end on the 1994 LT1 this weekend and I'm looking for input on a good long block combination to put back in with my existing Vortech SQ setup. The car needs to keep a decent idle, it's an automatic with a 3.54 gear. I intend to retain all stock accessories (A/C, PS, cruise, etc).

I intend to drive it on the street, saturday night only type vehicle but the wife may borrow it on occasion.

Motor blew (no, we don't know what caused it yet, car still at the morgue awaiting autopsy) at a Texas World Speedway driving event but it was to be the last weekend I was taking the C4 to the race track so no consideration for future road racing is necessary. Thanks for your input/assistance!
