I just installed 24# SVO injectors in my LT4 in preparation for NOS 5174 - 150 Dry shot. I tried 30# Accel injectors and the car ran way to rich. The dyno showed that I lost 25 rwhp with the 30# injectors!

Nothing wrong with Ford parts. A car doesnt know its make, only the owner does (My Mustang has a GM alternator) :).

Also just FYI, 30# injectors will not work without reprogramming the PCM.

Accel makes a 24lbs. injector. I went to 6 different parts stores to find Buick red paint for my block, all the other reds said FORD on the can. :U :chevy

I bought the SVO 30# 's and found the same thing... I returned to my stock 24's and by bumping up the fuel pressure, it seems I'm getting better atomization of the fuel... I'll keep the 30's for a rainy day i guess HEH...

BTW I won't tell ... it you don't tell my wife has a 97 Mustang GT ;)
