I know; I'll never hit 200 mph with the bottle sideways, but it
still hits well.

I'll try to take a pic later, but it's pretty easy to explain.
I put mine in the power seat area left of the rear view
mirror adjuster. I'll get a cover from MAD to hide it. I
mounted the switch so that "armed" is the up position.

I just mounted one on the right hand side, basically on top of the diaganol brace. After seeing yours, I might relocate it.

Do you have the Fuel supply line fed off of the fuel rail schraeder valve? (Like they did in Carcraft) How hard was that kit to install? I'm thinking about installing that same kit. (That's the #5151 right?)

The microswitch bracket is made to mount to (1) of the (3) bolts that hold the throttle cable housing bracket. When mounted in theis manner, and the throttle is depressed 3/4 of the way or better, the system will activate (provided that it is armed).

Unclear as to why someone would tie wrap a steel bracket onto the switch harness???

Hope this helps,
Aaron

Yes, the fuel hooks up to the schraeder valve. Takes about
6-8 hours; hardest part being cutting holes in your Corvette.
It is the 5151 kit and the instructions are pretty good.

I'm not sure what AKS is smoking, the MSW bracket can be bent
or mounted anywhere. Mine is attached to the air pump bracket
(the tie just holds the harness in place). My setup does not kick
the N20 on until absolute WOT (you have to really push the pedal
to the metal).

Smoking? I think many on this forum as well as others can vouch for my efforts to provide accurate info with regard to late model vette mods. I try to chime in when I have something positive to pass along to others. For the most part, I just read, and those who have learned, just email me directly with questions. I have modified most every part on the C-4s and have "chopped up", rebuilt, and modified more vettes than most people will own in their lifetime.

In the picture you had posted, it does not show the end of the bracket that must be attached to the air pump bracket. In the past, NOS used to include instructions on mounting to the throttle cable brackets, and does advise to bend to get optimum engagement with the throttle bracket. Maybe this is no longer included. It has been some time since I have bought a complete nitrous system from any manufacturer.

Hope some of this has helped in the microswitch install for those that requested.

Aaron

o.k. dude; I just took offense to "Unclear as to why someone would tie wrap a steel bracket onto the switch harness???". Maybe I misunderstood your comment??
