do I need a new ignition system with nitrous

Hi,
I'm thinking about adding nitrous to my 02 C5. If I do add a 100 shot, would it inhance the nitrous system to upgrade the ignition system, such as a MSD 6 series controls, spark plugs and wires?

I should have posted this in the C5 nitrous section.

I've really got to stop opening those nitrous bottles in a closed room
