antroc,
The injectors pretty much depend on howmuch horsepower you intend to be making. How much boost and how much fuuel pressure you are comfortable with..
Generally ,
The larger the injectors the less pressure under boost you will need to run. I'm running 30 pounders, and run 8 pounds of boost, I run my fuel pressure at about 70-75 pounds. With 24 pound injectors you will be in the 80- 85 psi range. The main thing you need to watch it that the injectors do not exceed80-85% duty cycle. While on the other end.. if you have too big of injectors... your idle will orcould be comprimised.
The FMU when it goes under boost basically blocks the return line to the tank to increase the fuel pressure at a particular rate perpound of boost. Under normal operation the fuel is returned to the tank as normal.
Generally for the 350.. ( you didn't saywhether it was a l98 or lt-1) is about 40 pounds... so your increase could be up to twice to give the effect of a larger injector. Below are a fewurl's to help you calculate some of your questions
