Default ATI Procharger P-1SC

Hi...I own a 96 CE, and I want to Supercharge it. Now I can install itmyself. I have a deal I dont want to miss. ATI Procharger P-1SC w/Intercooler...full setup. Plus Autometer Gauges. All new stuff. Several people say that I cant just bolt on this baby, that i will do some serious piston damage at 8psi. Keep in mind this is a stock motor. Is anyone else running this blower? Any words to the wise? thanks

Is the P1-sc you are buying from another Vette? I am pretty sure the P1-sc from any other Lt1 (Camaro)won't work. Boost can be turned down as well as up, but eventually you will have to rebuild depending on how heavy your right foot is.

Good luck & HLV

Hopefully you can get them to deliver... its taking me almost two month to get an intercooler out of them :mad :mad :mad

If you can mod your timong and monitor your knock reatrd aand be prudent with your right foot... you'll have a blast...

the P-1SC intercooled is the ONLY way to go. I have had no problems on my blown 96. Installation is not as simple as they claim. Took me "a mechanic" about 20 hours to make a very neet instalation.

Hey Blownvette

I'm considering the procharger and trying to decide how much
of the install to attempt myself.

Did you have to relocate any of the power steering stuff?
Cut the radiator shroud? Set up fuel controller on a dyno ?
Anything else that doesn't just bolt on ?

Thanks
