Re: 30lbs/hrs injectors. How much HP will they handle? (Tomas)
Hey Tomas- if that's you with the supercharger, you really ought to think about 36 lb/hr injectors. Even if you don't need them now, you will when you turn up the boost...
Re: 30lbs/hrs injectors. How much HP will they handle? (vader86)
ok, here's a ?. My car calls for 24lb injector now. When I use nitrous it calls for 30lb injectors. If I use 30 lbers now, the car doesn't idle very well. What do I do to solve this problem? Maybe put in 27 lbers? And go for the in between?
The same goes for the fuel regulator setup. Set it one way too low set it the other too high. Does it hurt to set the fuel flow regulator at @ 60 and leave it there? The correct setting without nitrous is @47. I hear setting it high is very hard on the injectors.
Re: 30lbs/hrs injectors. How much HP will they handle? (snake killer)
My car is already making 400 to the fly (335 rwhp) , I am using 30 #'s and it seems fine. But, if I am using a 150 hp nitrous kit, that'd push it well beyond the 500 hp mark. So, should I consider upping the injectors?

You don't include the Nitrous power into the equation if you are running a wet shot. The additional fuel needed for the power is introduced through the nitrous mixture and not the injectors.
I am right at 500 flywheel horsepower all motor and run 30# injectors. At 50psi I am running a little rich (12:1 a/f) and at 85-90% duty cycle at 6-6500k rpms.
Re: 30lbs/hrs injectors. How much HP will they handle? (Tomas)
2 weeks ago a pushed my car to 11.72 run. I have calculate the time and the weight so it has to have over 500HP. So now I definitely has to go for bigger injectors. I think I go for 50lbs/hrs. Then I can aslo add NOS. Whats the best make of injectors? Partnumbers? Any other help that I can use
