LT4 and Nitrous Whos got it?

I want to add a Nitrous system to my car and need any info from
96 corvette LT4 owners on your experience, likes and dislikes.

Do the Supercharger thing, I think you'll be much happier. Plus you won't have to hide that big funny looking bottle. :flag

Check this guy out he started the whole supercharging Vett Thing
Click on Corvette after you enter the site then look for LT4. Also read up on gaseous Intercooling.Their is plenty of info on his site.

Supercharging is great but installing one on a stock engine is very limited by the cast pistons. To get reliability and more hp you need to build a forged piston shortblock and o-ring the heads. Then you need a complete fuel system upgrade etc., etc. You need $15k to really do it right.

Excellent Point Rat Racer,

This is true but for the bucks a standard Carroll kit can give you 40 to 50%
HP increase with excellent driveability and long life for minimal bucks if you install it yourself. Mine has been on for about 7 years now using the gaseous injection system and the car still gets 26MPH and idols like a top yet still can rip up the payment! It was a total bolt on job with no internal engine mods. It took me two 8 hour days to install inbetween sipping some brewski's and tuning a few pages in the install manual.

But if you are looking for Warp Drive then your way is the best. :cheers: :flag

Yep, if you stay conservative and don't have any fuel delivery problems you can bolt one on and have years of fun. Then, when it's time for a rebuild you can build it w/ the right stuff and make huge hp.
