Default Super Chargers

I just purchased a 95 with a six speed. I would like to add a super charger. I was told by the local performance shop that I may want to do heads and cam instead. Super chargers in LT1 are hard to keep tuned and the air intake would be trouble because of higher air temps because the air intake pulls air from under the hood. Anyone have any suggestions. I would like to gain 80 to 100 HP while still maintaing driveability.

I read that eldelbrock head and roller cam roller rocker adds 80-100 with intake and headers.. I also never seem to find any good info on a c4 for heads and cam package here that someone has done and have a dyno sheet to show.. go to gmhitech thats about the best I could find for mine. seems ls1 or 2 or nothing here. I wish to do the same as you on my car.. good luck pm me if you find anything good..

Guys, there are a series fo heads that have been dynoed numerous times here on the forum. the two most commonly used Lt-x heads are:

Trickflow
AFR

The AFR seems to be the head of choice right now (especially the Eliminator series).

Edelbrock does sell an air-gap intake manifold for these cars BUT

Lloyd Elliot
Advanced Induction

can do a real nice number on the stock casting to get better flow out of it. they can also port out the TB opening to accept the larger 58mm TB or even the mono-blade unit from AZS&M

Greg Carrol is the "go-to" guy for supercharging c4's. He is definitely the one to talk to about a kit. He's totally unbias and will tell you "like it is".

Greg's website is blowerworks.net he's also a part of this community.
